The Radegast brewery continues its long-term commitment to retain more water in the landscape by 2030 than is consumed during beer production. As part of this goal, Radegast partnered this year with the Ukliďme Česko initiative to launch a nationwide clean-up campaign focused on rivers and their surroundings, involving more than 100 locations. People from across the Czech Republic were able to take part, with the most active participants receiving a total of 2,030 rainwater collection barrels from Radegast. The primary objective of the initiative is to support water retention in the landscape and contribute to the fight against drought.
Each barrel has a capacity of 200 litres and is designed to collect rainwater for further use, for example for garden irrigation. Altogether, the barrels can help retain more than 8 million litres of water annually. Branded with the Radegast logo, the barrels serve not only as a practical tool but also as a strong symbol of a brand that is actively working to reduce its own water consumption and support water retention projects.
The rainwater barrel became the central symbol of the entire campaign, appearing in a television commercial, online advertising, social media, outdoor communication and PR activities.
